One of our best selling models that can accommodate many applications. After designing the action with Paul Neumann, we decided to add it to our line-up.
Forgiving; that's one characteristic about this blank that we love. It allows you to feel the bite and react without blasting the hooks out of their mouth. With enough backbone, you're able to connect at the end of your cast yet it loads deep for side-of-the-boat shenanigans. There tons of opportunities to flex this twig; whether its a chatterbait, a deep crank or the infamous chicken jig, the CHICKEN rod will become a staple in your inventory.
Try pairing with a 7:1 casting reel and heavier flouro. If you're cranking, go light on the line. If your chatterbait slingin - go braid.

Please use rod cases for all custom ice rods. Avoid using any hook keepers/guides on noodle blanks when putting rods away as hooking your jig to the rod will increase the odds that your noodle rod's tip will break.
